For J. Albert at Everyday Pizza, the design aimed to reflect the dissociative, introspective nature of his music—blurring the line between the familiar and the surreal.
Using Midjourney to generate flower imagery and a dreamlike background structure taking design elements from mosques and cathedrals, I then used Photoshop to refine them and crafted an image that felt like a fragmented memory. Beautiful yet lonely, with the video companion to the flyer shifting in and out of focus as it cuts from surreal nature shots to footage of dancers at a warehouse party.
Subtle motion effects in Premiere reinforced this sense of detachment, with slow, pulsating distortions mirroring the hypnotic depth of J. Albert’s sound. The final piece captured the fluid, introspective essence of his music while maintaining a striking, club-ready aesthetic.
