For Slowmouth at Fort Greene Bar, the visual identity was crafted to reflect the essence of his intricate, minimal music—emphasizing texture, space, and subtle movement. The design approach embraced both static and animated elements to create a cohesive promotional campaign.
To bring the textures and patterns to life, Adobe After Effects was used to integrate neon lighting effects that pulse and shift, mimicking the rhythmic nuances in Slowmouth’s sonic landscape. The result is a dynamic, immersive visual that enhances the event’s aesthetic and captures attention across digital platforms.
A complementary promotional reel was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, using footage I personally shot around downtown Denver edited alongside performance footage of Slowmouth. The visuals were selected and cut to align with Slowmouth’s atmospheric style, reinforcing the event’s identity through a cinematic yet understated approach. This project was an exploration of the synergy between sound and visuals—translating the intricate, hypnotic nature of Slowmouth’s music into a striking, textural visual narrative.
